Global Workers We Support
Dr. Ryan and Kristen O’Leary are serving First Peoples in North America. Ryan currently leads Converges First Peoples Initiative. Ryan also serves as the President of the National Association of Native Evangelicals in the United States. This organization focuses on equipping, uniting, and encouraging the Body of Christ related to Indigenous people and ministry in the U.S. for the glory of God.
Monir and Samya Michael have been serving together in the Middle East for 20 years through their ‘Call of Love Ministries’. With their new virtual church, and television station ALMAGTV they are reaching 60 percent of the Muslim population. They work to draw Muslims to Christ by delivering God’s message of hope and life to Muslims globally.
Steve and Jenny Valentine, along with their 4 kids have served as missionaries in Poland from 2015-2023. During their time in Poland, they focused on disciple making and church planting as well as developing a team of missionaries across multiple Eastern European countries. Steve provides leadership for the 15:5 West Initiative — which is a focused effort of Converge that hopes to see gospel movements across the countries of Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Steve also works with the training and development team for Converge.
Sublime and Rachel Mabiala are called to participate in addressing the challenge of education in Africa. They are Participating in the missiological training of national pastors and leaders, Partnering with nationals in their Gospel movements projects among the unreached in Cote d’Ivoire and abroad, and Promoting community empowerment through entrepreneurial projects particularly among the youth and women.
Candace Fish joined the U.S. Engagement Team of Converge International Ministries to use her gifts to serve the local church. As a Church Mobilization Associate she is currently serving churches through the 2:10 FOCUS mission coaching. In addition to mobilizing the local church through coaching, she serves as the Communications Liaison for the U.S. Engagement team working with the Converge Communication team to share all that God is doing through Converge International Ministries to the local church and ministry partners.
We are part of a bigger movement, Converge, and serve our region of the country which includes the following states: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York and New Hampshire. Converge Northeast is committed to starting and strengthening churches by equipping, encouraging and deploying transformational leaders of all ages. We engage churches to transform their communities by reproducing disciples, leaders who start more churches.
WIHS Radio ~ 104.9 FM
WIHS~ 104.9 FM is the oldest and largest Christian radio station in Connecticut and has been located in Middletown since it went on the air October 11, 1969. The station features world renowned Bible preachers and teachers, devotionals from local pastors and uplifting music which glorifies the Lord. WIHS is a listener-supported, commercial-free station which depends upon the Lord’s people for prayerful and financial support.
